What We Do: Supporting Community Learning Initiatives
SWB works in partnership with grassroots educators and learning communities around the world through two Core Strategies:
1) PLATFORM
SWB’s Platform provides training, mentorship and “back-office” support to over 25 youth-led educational initiatives in Canada, Brasil and Kenya. This Platform allows educators to focus their energy on providing the highest level of programming, while meeting their administrative needs.
2) LEARNING CENTRE
SWB’s Learning Centre in Toronto provides a physical hub for young educators to collaborate and innovate. The Learning Centre also creates a space for “harvesting” what the network is experiencing and transforms those findings into practical solutions and effective strategies.
